Easter began very early, 5 am to be exact, when Atty decided to wake up.  First we had Easter basket "opening" and then we had eggs to decorate (this was a parental fail at trying to get them done before Easter).  Then we went to Grandpa and Grandma Bobb's for lunch.  And the entire day amounted to over 200 photos taken.  OMG.

So here's what I've narrowed down to be the highlights of the day....

1.  Atty's Easter Basket - She received a bunny sock monkey, one of those "taggie" blanket/chew things that is a duck, an elmo easter parade book, and a book about furry animals that has different textures for her to feel.  All of it was in an adorable sock monkey basket.   Sooo cute!  Once she had received it, she began by tasting everything.  I do believe that the Elmo book tasted the best, because she chewed it the longest.

2.  Atty "helped" dye a couple of the eggs until she got bored and just wanted to knock over the cups.  At this point she got placed into the bouncer so she could play and so could Mommy and Daddy.  I think we spent like two hours total just playing with the eggs....Just saying.

3.  Egg Dyeing - The best colors in our kit were purple, blue, and green.  Needless to say, most of the eggs are these three colors.  It was also a monster kit so it came with stickers that we put on the eggs once dried.  So we created a pretty cool monster army.  :)

4. Atty got all dressed up in her very pretty Easter dress.  She looked so adorable.....Yep, she managed to rip her dress halfway through the day.  Sigh.  I wanted to get professional photos taken in that.  :(

5.  We got to spend lots of time with Grandma and Grandpa!  We had sooooo much fun!

6.  Atty also borrowed a Frisbee from Alex's Easter Basket....which promptly became a chew toy.  Plus she could bang it on the cement.

7.  Atty also tried to go after Alex's Easter eggs, but that attempt quickly failed.

8.  She was such a good and sweet girl all day long!

9.  Finally, before we went to bed, Atty had her bath (like normal).  Typically, baths involve Mommy scrubbing her and then she plays with her rubber ducky for 5 minutes or so.  But today, we learned how to splash!!  And she was laughing hysterically for close to 30 minutes in the tub.  It was so adorable!  I would splash the water and then she would and then she'd grab my hand for a really big splash!!  She was just laughing the whole time.  No pictures, and I ended up soaked, but it was wonderful experience and so super cute.  :)  Perfect ending to the day!
