Around Here
5:00 AMHere's what has been going on for us this week:
We are now eating cereal once a day, (on a regular basis) in the evenings after Mommy has had dinner. However, she really likes to chew on the bowl and the spoon. To the point that she will actually grab the bowl out of my hand and then attempt to chew on the side...thus dumping everything all over.
We got a super awesome deal on a high chair for ten dollars! Woot! We also started adding some baby food and Atty is not pleased. We started with bananas, since she had enjoyed licking on them several weeks ago (last time we let her taste, she took a bite and caused havoc instead). She makes the most hilarious face every time she takes a bite of the baby food. And then she shakes her head back and forth and kind of twitches...But then she takes another bite. Sadly, this mommy finds it way too funny. The second day we tried the baby food, I mixed it with her cereal and that went a little better, but she still wasn't enjoying it as much as just her cereal. Sorry no pictures of the eating faces, I can barely keep her from getting the bowl and dumping her on herself - definitely not skilled enough yet to take pictures while doing it!
Daddy took this picture while we were sleeping in the big bed. He had to turn the light on to take the picture, and Atty moved. But he says she was sleeping in the same exact pose that I was in.
We had another horrible snow on Wednesday. The snow was so deep in front of the garage that the car barely was able to back up. And the drive to work was crazy! I slid 4 times before I got to the interstate, and twice more before I got off the interstate! I saw at least 6 cars in the ditch on my way to work and I only drove 30 mph the whole way there!
Jamie got this picture of Atty in her playground surrounded by her toys. She's such a cutie pie!
And our little rugrat is starting to figure out this crawling thing. She can get to her knees and then she's not sure what she does from there. In general she tries to stand up and then falls over. However, during this picture she actually managed to move one knee forward before going for a topple.
